So far away this castle
The light she'll always see
Joy in peaceful silence
The heart of memory

Regrets she feels in sorrow
The gift that was to be
Is now beyond her reach
Her heart in agony

Lost within this battle
Her dreams no longer there
Beyond this great horizon
The heart will shed a tear

For what could be is gone now
The shadows slowly fade
Memories of yesterday
She cannot find a way

Locked so deep inside her
The joy of life in past
Too soon the world upon her
She places herself last

Memories will linger
Each one will carry on
Prayers are heard in whispers
Dreams are all but gone.
